What to Expect:
The first visit will be a comprehensive evaluation lasting anywhere from 90 (adult) to 120 minutes (child). At the end of the initial evaluation, Dr. Spanos will discuss any impressions and make recommendations for treatment. Recommendations may include psychotherapy (“talk therapy”), psychiatric medications, and/or referrals to other services (i.e. educational evaluation, speech therapy, support groups, etc). Follow up appointments last 25 minutes for routine medication management, 40 minutes for child medication management, or 50 minutes for psychotherapy or more complex medication management issues.

Insurance and Payment:
Please know that Dr. Spanos does not participate in any insurance panels. We provide a superbill at the end of each month for patients to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement. Payment is due at the time of the service.
